John always had a huge interest in nutrition and healthy eating. From the age of 11 when he became vegetarian and due to his lack of knowledge became malnourished, it sparked an interest in food and creating healthy balanced meals. He worked in restaurants while in college and is always fond of throwing a healthy dinner party! He developed a mushroom with high levels of vitamin D; was involved in an international group promoting and researching the health benefits of mushrooms; he is currently a mentor on an international weight loss program called Precision Nutrition and has recently completed a certificate course in Sports and Exercise Nutrition and a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation and Strategy.
